Green Skies G.T. I would love to see people creating a soup algorithm, or if you don't feel up to that, working with a pre-existing one. This sort of thing is perfect for group gatherings where everyone brings something in the "stone soup" model, but it also helps people to stretch a limited food budget farther by using up odds and ends of things. If you have a common kitchen, you can leave a crockpot of "eternal soup" simmering and just add to it periodically.
