February Valentines Bingo Card

This is my prompt card for the February 2023 Valentines Bingo Fest challenge at the AllBingo site.

 

I'm sticking with the plan of making 200+ word fills for my prompts - these might not end up being a complete story for each fill, but many of them connect into longer stories in my ongoing series:

• OtherWorldly - Dark Urban Fantasy - Carnelle the Succubus is on the Hunt for a killer.
• RePrint - Science fiction - Althea has chosen to undergo an unusual medical procedure that will allow her to imprint new memories of important first experiences.
• Village Witch - Edwina - Steam Punk/Fantasy setting - These stories are being created as a playthrough of the Solo TTRPG "Village Witch." Edwina has a year to find the village where she belongs as their Village Witch.
• The Earthen - Fantasy Setting - The tales of The Earthen, tiny nutlike beings who live in burrows, and are highly cooperative. No landing page yet, as there are only 3 stories. This started with "Blessings of the Cool Dark" and with 1 more story will earn its own landing page!

I'd appreciate reader suggestions that expand on any word or phrase on the bingo card. Feel free to make suggestions that tie into my ongoing series or for something completely new. 

 

Squares that have been filled with 200+ words of story will be Struck Through so it will be easy for everyone to keep track of what's been done & how close I am to a Bingo!

Forsythia - Anticipation

Green Skies G.T. is excited because the residents did a bunch of landscaping in fall, planting bushes and bulbs that would bloom in spring. The cameras keep sweeping the grounds and finding only snow or mud. So far.

I think, as I continue the experiment of writing from G.T.’s perspective, that I’ll slowly add pieces to their Log over most of the month. I’ve started work on your prompt, and I’m anticipating having it ready before the end of February 😉

Green Skies G.T. - February 2053 has been written and posted in response to your request for more Green Skies G.T. stories.

It went very wayward as I was writing it, and what I had started in response to your original Forsythia - Anticipation - Spring bulbs prompt has now become the beginning of "Green Skies G.T. - March 2053."

Posting on the third story TBD as I'm still writing! \O/

Thank you! I really enjoyed this. I look forward to reading the March poem. *ponder* Given the format chosen, this would lend itself very well to posting one story a month.

Be honest with yourself

A character is honest with themselves about when they reserve energy for themselves and prioritize efforts for personal gain (without guilt). A rejection of the always do your Best philosophy which often leaves the character burnt out.

I have a drabble based on your "Be honest with yourself" prompt. "Personal Day" is about a character keeping a promise to themselves and prioritizing their well being.
