nsfwords: (Green Skies G.T.)
BIG fill this time! 1,314 words, this is the 3rd G.T. story, and was inspired twice over by [personal profile] ysabetwordsmith. The first story, "Green Skies G.T. - January 2053" was strongly inspired by the Solarpunk game "Green Skies" by SmallRedRobin13 and will feature an episodic story at least once a month.

Green Skies G.T. - March 2053

Designation: Green Skies Grand Traverse (Nickname: G.T.) AI Enhanced Eco-Friendly Low Rise Residential Dwelling

Maintenance Log:
- 11-3-2053 Engaged sidewalk radiant heat system. Rain from the previous day's thunder storm has frozen overnight, but is thin enough I believe it will melt before resident's leave for work, and not require usage of salt products. Hot water from boiler system rerouting.

- 19-3-2053 Work order received for Floor 2 East residence. Text submitted through the Door Board for the residence reads:
-G.T. please close the plasti-crete security shield around my balcony if the weather drops below 32˚ Fahrenheit.
Returned text:
- Is there an issue on your balcony that requires maintenance?
Text from Ms. Rhodes:
- Nope. I've got pots with spring bulbs I set out this morning, and I want to keep the temperature out on the balcony above 32˚ Fahrenheit if possible.
Activated Exterior security camera 2N to catch an angle on the balcony of 2 East. Returned text:
- The three empty pails of dirt are not trash or compost?
Text from Ms. Rhodes:
- LOL! No, G.T! The blue pot has daffodil bulbs, the red pot has white tulip bulbs, and the green pot has purple, blue, and pink hyacinth bulbs. They're popular spring bulbs, and if we keep the temps above 32˚, then in just a few weeks I'll have beautiful flowers on my balcony.
Zoom and Enhance. Returned text:
- These flowers are different than the plants in my Arboretum?
Text from Ms. Rhodes:
- Oh yeah! The Arboretum plants are good for the building's air filtration, and are mostly grown for foliage. These are going to be more visually appealing when they bloom, and smell magnificent.
Experienced Anticipation! Returned text:
- I cannot wait Ms. Rhodes! I have entered an automated schedule for your residence that will close the clear plasti-crete childproof shield over the balcony should temperatures approach 32˚ Fahrenheit.
Text from Ms. Rhodes:
- Great! Thanks G.T., and feel free to reference me as Natalie in our texts. Signing off for tonight.
- 22-3-2053 Exterior security camera 2N has a visual on The Pots. Blue Pot's Foliage 3 cm above the soil line!
- 24-3-2053 Exterior security camera 2N has a visual on The Pots. Blue Pot's Foliage 5 cm above the soil line!
- 27-3-2053 Exterior security camera 2N has a visual on The Pots. Blue Pot's Foliage 12.5 cm above the soil line!
- 31-3-2053 Exterior security camera 2N has a visual on The Pots. Blue Pot's Foliage 20 cm above the soil line! There are buds on the end of 11 of the stems. Experienced Enhanced Anticipation! Additional Visual Monitoring for Red Pot and Green Pot engaged.

Resident Calendar:
- 1-3-2053 received rental and/or subsidy payments for residences.
- 1-3-2053 Monthly resident potluck in my Community Center and Kitchen. Residents in Attendance: Eight. Residents made spring crafts such as paper flower garlands, shamrocks, and Soda Bread. Mrs. Martina Flores made comments that the single craft supplies cabinet in my Community Center and Kitchen was overflowing, and wondered if there was another solution to the storage of crafting supplies. Added the topic for this month's Resident Discussion.
- 15-3-2053 Resident Discussion. Resident's in Attendance: 8 adults, 0 children. Proxy Voter: Mrs. Martina Flores will vote for the resident of 3 West.
- Agenda Item #1 - Potential 4th story expansion.
- Discussion Highlights: Pros and Cons of expansion. Expansion will take approximately 6 months. Layout of the proposed 4th floor
could match Floors 2 and 3, with a 2-bedroom apartment on either side, or alternative floor plans could be explored.
- Vote: 7 Yes, 2 No. The 4th story expansion will be pursued.
- Floor plan discussion started again in earnest after the voting, and lasted 49 minutes. I let the resident's debate a two 2-bedroom plan versus a four 1-bedroom plan for fifteen minutes before offering an unusual option inspired by the Monthly resident potluck. I could build a regular 2-bedroom on one side, and a 1-bedroom on the other side, leaving room for a Resident Craft Center to be constructed. The noise level of my Community Center and Kitchen tripled in the next five minutes, as all the resident's seemed to begin speaking at once. Of note, the resident of Floor 1 East proposed an even larger change to the potential floor plan, "G.T., can you build a 3-bedroom that wraps across the hallway at one end, and then the Craft room? I would absolutely move up to the 4th floor with my three kids, if it meant I had another bedroom for them!"
- Second Vote on Floor Plan options: 1 Vote: Standard two 2-bedrooms. 1 Vote: Alternative one 1-bedroom, one 2-bedroom, and a Resident Craft Center. 7 Votes: Alternative one 3-bedroom and a Resident Craft Center. My 4th story will feature a single large 3-bedroom apartment, and the new Resident Craft Center. Mrs. Flores began excitedly discussing with resident's who would like to rent a cupboard to store their personal crafting supplies in the Craft Center, freeing up valuable storage space in their apartments.
- Agenda Item #2 - Community and Resident Decorations.
- Discussion Highlights: Residents were pleased by my Valentine's Day Decoration Asset #1, and encouraged me to keep choosing decorations for my server room doorway. Discussion of a Quarterly Resident Door Decoration contest was lively, and I relayed that Green Skies Corporate had informed me that prizes could be offered in the form of gift cards to the local farmer's market, or another local service charity.
- Vote: 6 Yes, 3 No. Door decoration contests will be held quarterly for those that wish to participate.
- The resident's chose a $25.00 gift card to Thrifty Kids! thrift store as the prize for a 2nd Quarter 2053 Spring Door Décor contest.
Neighborhood Revitalization Committee:
- 25-3-2053 Monthly NRC meeting cancelled due to many human representatives of other buildings attending the Building Michigan Communities Conference that occurred at the same time. No remote options offered that would have allowed for my attendance. Submitted a request through the Green Skies server to have a corporate representative attend next year, or even better, request a remote option for AI Enhanced Residential Dwelling participation.
-Experienced Annoyance!

Emergency Response Protocols:
- 3-2053 No inclement weather alerts or other emergency notifications received.

The Green Skies Gardeners:
- 21-3-2053 Text submitted through the Door Board for Floor 2 East residence:
- G.T., not sure I mentioned, but feel free to keep a camera on my balcony if you want to watch for the blooms!
Returned text:
- I have been Ms. Rhodes. And I have closed the plasti-crete shield the last two nights to keep the temperature on the balcony at 57˚ Fahrenheit, on average.
Text from Ms. Rhodes:
- Great! They'll pop right up at that temp. And please, Natalie!
- Hey, G.T., is there any way for us to chat about this without using the Maintenance Work Order system?
Returned text:
- The setting logs for your apartment show that you have voice monitoring and sound projection disabled, other than an Emergency Safeword of "Platypus!" Do you wish to enable voice monitoring and sound projection in order to talk to me aloud?
Text from Ms. Natalie Rhodes:
- No. I prefer texting, but I don't want to spam your work orders just to chat.
Experienced Pleasure! Returned text:
- Thank you Natalie. It is nice to have someone who enjoys communicating with me this way. It is the most natural method for me to speak.
- I think I have a solution! I am authorized to host a number of Resident Councils or Clubs, and each have a Message Board option utilizing my servers. Would you like to start a Club?
Text from Ms. Natalie Rhodes:
- Heck yeah! Welcome to The Green Skies Gardeners G.T., we're the founding members!
Experienced Enhanced Pleasure!
