Final Friday Fics - Wishes

The Prompt Call is Closed. I’ll be writing for the prompts I've received over the next few weeks - thank you to everyone who participated - WOW!

Today's Final Friday Fics is open with a theme of "Wishes." Final Friday Fics are a way for me to reach out to readers to gain inspiration at the end of the month to write stories they would like to read. I'll use the prompts and suggestions as inspiration for short drabble sized pieces of fiction, generally 200+ words in length.

 

I'm hoping to get prompts for all kinds of desires - heartfelt wishes, secret desires, yearnings, cravings, and what characters might long for. Feel free to make suggestions that tie into my ongoing series or for something completely new.

I still have 5 open squares on my January Public Domain Day Bingo Card if you'd like to riff off of those prompts to help me complete a Bingo. I'd also love any requests that expound on a Funuary prompt!

These are the current Series that I'm writing episodically that you might want to offer prompts for:

• The Earthen - Fantasy - The tales of The Earthen, tiny nutlike beings who live in warrens, and are highly cooperative.
• Green Skies G.T. - Cozy Science Fiction - The monthly logs of G.T., a sentient apartment dwelling, and it's inhabitants.
• OtherWorldly - Dark Urban Fantasy - Carnelle the Succubus is on the Hunt for a killer.
• RePrint - Science fiction - Althea has chosen to undergo an unusual medical procedure that will allow her to imprint new memories of important first experiences.
• Village Witch - Edwina - Steam Punk/Fantasy setting - These stories are being created as a playthrough of the Solo TTRPG "Village Witch." Edwina has a year to find the village where she belongs as their Village Witch.
• The Witch's Kitchen - Contemporary Fantasy - Lucia and Jeanette are opening the restaurant of their dreams, and it takes a little magic to make things work.

Based on your "granting wishes" prompt I've wrote the story "Daily Interventions" - Corbin, the deity of mischief, is just out doing good works. How other people perceive them is not his problem. Can't please everybody.
